Surviving the World is ending, and to celebrate the end of 10+ years and 3500+ comics, we're doing a "best of" book collection!

Meanwhile, the USB brains are on order and everything looks like it's coming together!
So the book contents are finalized, more or less! A few people are looking through it for a final review, and then it'll be off to the printers!
I'm not sharing which comics specifically are in the book, or what commentary was added to each one - I will share that I did include File Unders, as some of you requested.
BUT I will share with you the soundtrack that we hit as one of the stretch goals, which is included as an appendix in the book - each is aligned to a certain comic in the book in some meaningful-or-not-meaningful way or another. I put it all into a Spotify playlist as best I could (a few songs aren't on Spotify) so you can enjoy it if you so prefer!

As to the rest of the book, Christopher Moore's foreword is great, there are some good Table of Contents jokes in there ... I think you'll like the book!
All 300 comics have been chosen for the book, the 'soundtrack listing' stretch goal that will be an appendix for the book has been assembled, the incredible foreword from Christopher Moore has been received (it's like he can write really well or something, who would have thought) ... things are progressing pretty well!
My goal is to make sure everything is done by the end of August, and given that the book printing will be done just north of the border, we should be on track to make sure you receive the books by the end of the year!
I just have to pick a day to eat some raisins later this month ...
Hello all-
I am in the final stretches of selecting which comics will go into the book, so if there are any that come to mind that you would really like to be in there, I'm certainly willing to listen!
You can rest assured, there will be the Happiness maze and other mazes, there will be several Creeping People Out, there will be dinosaur poses, there will be one Abstract Halloween Costumes, there will be pets in labcoats, there will be Cannonball and Torpedo, there will be a good mix of the humorous and the serious ... but if you have one or another specifically in mind that really meant a lot to you, I'd love to hear it. The multi-panel ones are going to be a lot harder to get into the book, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the Santa one in there at least in a legible form.
Beyond that, it's July and I feel like I can finally breathe again, except for when the cat tries to sleep on my head at night, but I can also relax enough to get this book pulled together. And it's going to happen all thanks to you, so once again, I remain ever grateful to you!
(and good God but digging through the archives has been a spelunking adventure through a ton of badness, at least there are a few gems in the old ones)

Just a quick note - the Kickstarter did far better than I ever thought possible - I seriously doubted we would even make the goal - and I am thoroughly looking forward to putting everything together for the book and making it as topnotch as I can for you.
